even better than shaun of the dead?

Hot Fuzz is an action comedy that once again teams up director Edgar Wright with Spaced actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in a film that follows hot on the success of Zombie horror Shaun of the Dead. Nicholas Angel, is a London cop who is just too good at his job. As he is showing up everyone else in his police force, Angel is sent to a quiet Somerset town, where he finds a much slower pace of life. However, sleepy Sandford is not all that it first seems. It seemed unlikely that Hot Fuzz could match Shaun of the Dead but it actually succeeds and is just as good if not even better. Hot Fuzz starts slowly but gradually builds momentum, and delivers plenty of laughs along the way. It's smart, original, inventive and pokes fun at American action in a brilliantly British way. No doubt Hot Fuzz will only get better with age.
