    Action packed thriller

    This thriller about a big-time South Bronx drug dealer who wants out and the Wall Street broker who offers him an opportunity to do so is full of tension, love and a bit of violence. John Leguizamo as Victor Rosa (the drug dealer), is the main attraction here, although he plays a latin stereotype. As Jack the Wall Street broker, Peter Sarsgaard does a great job. And finally Delilah Cotto and Denise Richards are extremely attractive as the female leads, Carmen and Trish. Only Isabella Rossellini feels miscast in the role of Columbian drug lord “La Columbiana”. But overall, “Empire” is a good, well-acted, action-packed thriller that’s entertaining and full of truth.
