In layman's terms...it's a Dog Soldiers meets Black Sheep meets Shaun of the Dead kinda film. Hugely funny and takes the p*ss out of itself. It will make you giggle, it will make you laugh out loud but it won't make your brain explode from an intricate plot, (there isn't one). Just grab some popcorn open a few tinnies and watch.
Great british comedy horror, just switch off the brain and enjoy it for what it is - splatter, tongue in cheek nonsense. It doesn't take itself seriously, or pretend to be something it's not. Yes, the storyline is weak and the acting questionable, but if anyone criticizes it for that, then they're missing the point of this wee gem of a film. It's just over-the-top silliness. Reminds me of Peter Jackson and 'Bad Taste' and look what happened to him...
A great tongue in cheek horror film. Dont take this film seriously, have a bit of a giggle with it, and just enjoy it for the pure entertainment that it is. After all, thats all it is. It doesnt try to be a serious film, and none of the actors in it are taking the film too seriously either.
Its a great film to watch with a few mates and a couple of beers. Pure unadulterated entertainment.
Bad story line, Bad Script, insipid acting, awful costumes, No lighting control....I can go on and on and on..........These kind of movies shoul be removed from your data base! Thanks for this opportunity to vent my anger. Ramvad
Let’s get one thing straight – this film is not one to take seriously. It’s made with a tongue lodged firmly inside its proverbial cheek. Think ‘Shaun of the Dead’ but with aliens and you are getting closer to what this movie is about. The style and sophistication that you see in ‘Shaun’ is nowhere to be seen here though. Instead some of the lowest budget makeovers are given to the films monsters and the special effects are extraordinarily simple. Director Jake West does not dwell on this however and refuses to hold back in delivering a barrage of laughs and in-your-face horror. Once you get used to the unsophisticated style of ‘Evil Aliens’ you are left with a fresh, vibrant and unique film that offers enough gore and giggles to keep most people happy.
great rubbishthis
