Synopsis

    'I think we’ve got another shark problem…’

    Sequel to the hugely successful Spielberg hit, Jaws 2 sees the return of the monster shark, as emphasised by the famous tagline 'just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water'… After two divers are killed investigating the wreck of the Orca, a water skier disappears and the carcass of a killer whale washes up with whopping great big bite marks on it, Chief Brody suspects that a great white is once again menacing Amity. While it can't match the first film for brilliance, Jaws 2 is still a decent film that provides plenty of excitement and suspense. The tension is well crafted and the shark still has the power to shock. As sequels go Jaws 2 is pretty good, although the teenage characters do get so annoying you end up wishing they would get eaten sooner rather than later.
