surprisingly likeable

The Fact and Furious is an action film that should please any lover of big, fast, noisy cars and high-speed races. Undercover cop, Brian O' Conner infiltrates a street gang suspected of stealing fancy car parts, and must work hard to find out exactly who is behind the theft. The Fast and the Furious is surprisingly likeable. That doesn't mean it's a brilliant film, but it does pack in plenty of action with frenzied car chases which are pretty silly but very enjoyable. It's mindlessly entertaining, and while the plot, acting and script could no doubt be improved on, The Fast and the Furious does have plenty of thrills. Bold, brash and all in all very watchable.
