Honey is a drama which features a dancer who is pretty damm near perfect in a film that it anything but. Jessica Alba plays the young title character; a hip-hop teacher to local street kids. When a musical choreographer offers her a chance for success, Honey's dreams come at a price. Honey is not just slightly bad - it's awful. Uninspiring and unoriginal, Honey takes all the clichés and bad parts of other films and manages to put them together to create a film which fails miserably at every turn. OK, the dancing may be half-decent but it's totally outweighed by a poor plot, a rubbish script and an extremely irritating main character who is about as two-dimensional as they come. Even the film's title is poor…
