Synopsis

After his alternate-fuel research lab blows up, a brilliant young scientist (Keanu Reeves) is wrongly pegged as the saboteur in this action-thriller from the director of THE FUGITIVE.     keanu solves global warming

    It's the age-old conspiracy - the world is so reliant on oil that the planet is being destroyed, and when Keanu Reeves tries to do something about it the government wants him dead. It really is amazing how consistently 'the man' will try and interfere with Keanu when he's trying to save the world. This time he's come up with an alternative energy source that runs entirely on water (and has nothing whatsoever to do with believable science), but this is too much for the shadowy powers-that-be, who blow up Keanu's research and then frame him as a cop killer. There really only is one lesson to be learned from all of this - never, ever, under any circumstances give Brian Cox a job in a secret government organisation. He'll always go bad...
