  1. Great film, not so great on here sadly :-(

Umm. I love this film, own it on dvd, and ave seen it many times. Whilst staying over at a friends house (who also uses blinkbox) i suggested we watch it, and i paid for it.

It seems, sadly, that the audio is out of sync with the video :-( Now that has never happened with anything else i have watched on here, nor has it happened with anything my friend has watched or bought. So this is a bit of a let down.

Its a 5* film though, and i would say, go get it on dvd! Definately!
  2. The finest 'rom-zom-com around

    06 December 2008
Who would have thought that a mixture of the off-beat comedy series ‘Spaced’ and the classic gore-fest that is ‘Dawn of the Dead’ would produce such a good film – but that’s exactly what ‘Shaun of the Dead’ is. Shaun decides to sort his pathetic life out by winning back his girlfriend, making up with his Mum and, oh yeah – fending off an entire town of blood-thirsty zombies. Primarily a comedy, ‘Shaun of the Dead’ is nothing short of hilarious. There are some great lines, hugely funny characters and some sophisticated slapstick (if such a thing exists). Throw in some fantastic zombie action, a number of cool cameos and a frenetic pace and you are left with an all round terrific movie. Without doubt the finest ‘rom-zom-com around’. Yes the competition is limited (or non-existent) but ‘Shaun of the Dead’ is a superb way to spend 99 minutes of your life - dead or un-dead.
