Synopsis

    Thunderbirds are most definitely not go

    Turning any popular TV series into a film is a difficult process. When the franchise is as big as 'Thunderbirds' and human actors are used to replace puppets then this becomes an almost impossible task. Not surprisingly, the result is a very poor movie. This all new cinematic storyline concerns an evil attack on the Thunderbirds not so secret base. After the legendary Brains is brainwashed into submission (talk about irony!) the rest of the 'Birds must come to his rescue in obvious and tedious fashion. Predictable storyline aside, this conversion just doesn't work. The memorable magic associated with the original characters is missing and the level of acting comes nowhere near to compensating. Even the most die-hard 'Thunderbirds' fans will struggle to enjoy this big-screen flop and as for the rest – Thunderbirds are most definitely not go.
