Synopsis

It's based on a true story (not really). It's the first animated movie set in 19th-century Nova Scotia (yeah, right). You could say it's about the struggle for basic, inalienable freedoms in the face of oppression, but you'd sound like a jerk (now you're getting closer). It's South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut.

When the kids of the strange town of South Park, Colorado, won't stop imitating the two foul-mouthed Canadian stars of an R-rated film, their parents prod the U.S. government into declaring war on Canada! Meanwhile, Satan (portrayed here as the gay lover of Saddam Hussein) schemes to use the resulting chaos to gain world domination.

Exuberantly and gleefully crude, this irreverent animated musical comedy based on the hit television show caustically lampoons virtually everything. Hang on tight for a hilarious ride to South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.

    A must see

Irreverent, politically incorrect and generally offensive... Brilliant! It's the feature-length version of everyone's favourite late night cartoon. Whilst not ground-breaking, and far from Oscar-worthy, it has to be on your list of must see films.

    hilarious

    06 December 2008
Based on the popular animated TV show, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut combines comedy, music and a large helping of satire in this feature length film. It pokes fun at censorship among plenty of other things, as the town of South Park goes crazy when the kids watch Canadian film 'Asses of Fire'. Chaos follows, as war is declared on Canada and Suddam Hussein and the devil plot to take over the earth. Well it's brash, bad mouthed and vulgar and that's what makes it great. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut is incredibly funny and while much of the humour is simply of the laugh-out-loud kind a lot of it goes much deeper in poking fun at America and its culture of paranoia and blame. It might be crude but it's undeniably entertaining.
