    Based on the best-selling game of the same name, DOA – Dead or Alive is an action film which centres around the very simple concept of making beautiful girls fight in skimpy clothing. A martial arts contest draws a large number of fighters to compete in various battles. Well, DOA will certainly win no prizes for its classiness, substance or intellect. It's completely shallow and more than a little bit silly, with girls that look like they would snap in half like a twiglet mysteriously managing to fend off big bruisers twice their size. However DOA doesn't exactly demand to be taken too seriously. It's extremely trashy, and it knows it, but it does have a few surprisingly fun moments too.

    If you like very attractive girls in very little clothing, along with a bit of mindless violence, then you'll love this film. I know I did. Just check out the clips above, and you'll get a good idea what the rest of the film is like.
