- Mark Pellegrino is an American actor of film and television who has been acting steadily since the late 1980s. He currently appears as Chris on television's Grey's Anatomy. Prior to that, he played abusive husband and ex-con Paul on Showtime's Dexter. He's also had appearances on television series such as Northern Exposure, ER, The X-Files, NYPD Blue, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Knight Rider. He is a teacher at Playhouse West in North Hollywood.
