- Eve Bennett-Gordon is an American actress. She may be best known for portraying Principal Dale in The Grudge 2, for playing the mother of the title character in the TV series Felicity, or for her starring role as Congressional aide Jordan Miller in the short-lived sitcom The Powers That Be. Gordon was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Mary (née McDougall), a historian, and Richard Bennett Gordon, a history professor and lawyer. She started her acting career in 1982, playing Marge Tallworth in the movie The World According to Garp. After that, she appeared in commercials and in television programs like Murphy Brown and A Woman Named Jackie.
