- Kate Jackson (born October 29, 1948) is an American actress, director, and producer. She is a four-time Emmy Award nominee, twice in the Best Actress category, once in the Best Supporting Actress category and once for a guest appearance in the TV series, "Ally McBeal" (first season episode). She has also been nominated for several Golden Globe Awards, and has won the title of Favorite Television Actress in England, and Favorite Television Star in Germany several times for her work in the television series, Scarecrow and Mrs. King.
