- Arija Bareikis (born July 21, 1966) is an American actress. She starred alongside Rob Schneider as Kate in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999) and currently is cast as LAPD police officer Chickie Brown, in the police drama series Southland, which originally aired on NBC before moving to TNT in 2010. Bareikis was born in Bloomington, Indiana. Her surname is of Lithuanian origin. She is a 1988 graduate of Stanford University. Her father is a professor of Germanic literature at Indiana University.
