- Gareth Edwards (born 1975) is a British film director. He is best known for directing the 2010 indie motion picture Monsters, his first feature film. He also wrote, filmed, and did the visual effects for the film. He is currently attached to direct the upcoming Godzilla reboot from Legendary Pictures.
