- John Putch began his professional career as an actor at the age of 5, in a summer theater run by his father. He has had a respectable television and film acting career but now directs. Some of his feature films are: Valerie Flake (1999) (official selection 1999 Sundance Film Festival), Pursuit of Happiness (2001), BachelorMan (2002) the documentary This Is My Father (1998/II) and the multi award winning Mojave Phone Booth (2006) and Route 30 (2008).
