- Simon Wells is the great grandson of H.G. Wells. He is best known for directing The Time Machine (2002 remake). He also directed An American Tail: Fievel Goes West, Balto, The Prince of Egypt and the film adaptation of We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. He is nominated for the 34th Annual Annie Awards "Storyboarding in an Animated Feature Production" for his boarding of Flushed Away.
