Aaaah, Baywatch. You get what you’re expecting with this show, and it’s good fun. Nothing here is going to really shock or challenge you, but it’s definitely quality light entertainment. This is also in the show’s early days when it wasn’t quite so focused on the T&A which came to define it (but that’s not to say there isn’t already a fair amount), so it does have plot and character and actual content; it’s just not that hard-hitting. This first episode is a good introduction to what comes later, and it’s always great watching Hasselhoff saving drowning swimmers.
