an improvement on the first

Despite the 80’s bathing suits and beautiful weather, life on the beach isn’t perfect: an evil Australian lifeguard, drunken jet-skiers and The Hoff’s wayward son make for an exciting, fast-paced episode. The acting leaves a lot to be desired, but the boat chases and action on the water is impressive. Not for fans of serious, deep drama, more for those who like light-hearted entertainment. I like that the show is starting to have real storylines running through an episode (like with the jet-skiers), and it’s feeling less like a lifeguard montage of isolated little incidents.
