Synopsis
A year ago, 35-year-old mother-of-two Kerry Fender was looking dowdy and defeated. Despite practising the beauty routines of a supermodel, she didn’t look like one. Moisturizing daily, eating healthily and drinking plenty of water weren’t having the desired effect on her skin, and when people said she looked like a teenager, they meant spotty. Everything else – the frumpy dress sense, the outdated glasses, and the canary yellow teeth – had her looking distinctly middle-aged; and a poll of one hundred people put her at 40. Cosmetic doctor Patrick Bowler sorted out her skin, dentist Steve Sharma fixed her crooked smile, hairdresser Guy Parsons put some lustre back into her locks; while stylist Nicky Hambleton-Jones talked Kerry into dressing like a thirty-something. By the end of the process, Kerry looked a whole lot more than ten years younger – but a year later, Nicky revisits Kerry to find out whether she’s kept up the good work, or gone back to her old ways?
