Synopsis

Derby wife and mum Donna Fuller is stuck at home and stuck in a rut. Since the birth of her toddler two years ago, she’s aged a hundredfold. Pregnancy left her with scaly skin, which she covers badly, with a mask of make up, and lack lustre hair, which she cuts and dyes herself. But her biggest problem is her gapped front teeth, which have left her, literally, with nothing to smile about. No surprise then that a hundred people put her at 44, when she’s only 38. Nicky Hambleton-Jones and team to the rescue. Cosmetic doctor, Patrick Bowler, saves her skin with laser treatment, botox and fillers; cosmetic dentist Surinder Hundle bridges that gap with ten ceramic veneers; and hairdresser Andrew Barton snips those listless locks into shape. But it’s up to Nicky to dress her as a woman who can pass the poll test and look 34: which means coaxing Donna out of her drab, dreary and oversized clothes, and straightening out a slouching habit that only Quasimodo would envy.
