Synopsis

45 year old Welsh farmer Sharon Evans has so many animals to tend to that she’s stopped looking after herself. She hasn’t updated her wardrobe since the 1980’s, has worn the same blue eye-shadow since she was 17 and doesn’t own a hairdryer. Add to that a dawn-to-dusk lifestyle of hard labour in the harsh elements, and it’s no wonder that even her own mother-in-law thinks she looks several decades older than she actually is. A hundred people who aren’t Sharon’s mother-in-law weren’t a lot kinder: a poll on the streets of Cardiff puts her at 55. Cue a much-needed appearance-audit.
