Synopsis

Wife and mother, Janice Holmes,42, was used to living it large. Then she lost more than three stone in weight, and stubbed out her forty-a-day fag habit, to become a picture of health. But a poll of one hundred people in her hometown of Blackpool suggested she was still a golden mile away from picture perfect: the average guess put her at six years older than she really is. Janice, it seems, did too little, too late in her battle against the clock. Cue Nicky Hambleton-Jones and her time-fighting trio. Make-up artist Louise Constad shows her how to make more of herself in the make up department; hairdresser Andrew Barton tames her messy tresses, and cosmetic surgeon Jan Stanek gives Janice a lower and upper eyelid lift, dermal fillers and botox. But it’s Nicky that cuts the deepest: Janice in her sparkly silver boob-tube is, she says, a bad case of mutton dressed as lamb. Redressed, quite literally, will Janice stand up to public scrutiny in a second poll, and drop that decade?
