Synopsis

Returning from a futile stakeout, Styles (Ed Bernard) and Pepper (Angie Dickinson), undercover as a pimp and his hooker, shop at a bank to cash a check. Pepper enters the bank to find it being robbed by 25 year old ladies' man, Vern Lightfoot (Bill Lucking), and his hulking older brother, Charlie Joe (Don Stroud). When police move in, Vern wounds Styles and takes the attractive Pepper hostage, acting as if he were famed hold up man Clyde Barrow. When the robbers make their car switch, Pepper meets the third member of the gang, Laurene Anniston (Nellie Bellflower), a super¬-groupie who, unable to find anyone as exciting as Jesse James or Charles Manson, has latched on to Vern.
