Synopsis

Twenty-three-year-old Megan Smith (series star JoANNA GARCIA) is having a bad day. Despite her Yale education, relentlessly positive attitude and a plan to conquer the world of journalism, she has just been fired from her job at a tabloid rag -- this after accidentally burning down her apartment and dying her hair the color of a Blow Pop. Her boss (guest star DEBI MAZAR - "Entourage") takes pity on Megan, however, and arranges an interview with Laurel Limoges (series star ANNE ARCHER), the elegant and wealthy head of a cosmetics empire based in Palm Beach, Florida. Things start to look up for Megan as she is offered a position as the live-in tutor for Laurel's twin teen granddaughters in the heady Palm Beach world of wealth and power. In exchange for getting the girls into Duke University, Megan will live amongst the fabulous, and have her student loans completely taken care of. Sweet!
