Synopsis

When an old friend is hospitalized following a heart attack, Maria realizes just how little she and Gus have prepared for their own future. Though insisting he's strong as an ox, Gus finally gives in to Maria's relentless badgering and agrees to draw up a will. But when she and Thomas arrive home to unexpectedly find Nikki waiting for them, Nia learns that her dad has left the family restaurant to her, and not Nick. Though touched by the gesture, Nia knows she doesn't want to work there for the rest of her life. So, when Gus and Maria arrive to break the good news, she tries in vain to politely refuse.
