Synopsis

As Hondo fights for his life in a brain surgery operation, S.W.A.T. officers Jim Street, Dom Luca, T.J. McCabe and Deacon Ray keep a hospital vigil. Each recalls earlier experiences with the tough police lieutenant as they wait for news of their leader's condition.

Dominic Luca remembers his first day on the team, when Hondo ordered him to cut his hair and shave off his beard. T.J. McCabe and the others recall S.W.A.T.'s first encounter with a gang of cop killers, and Jim Street remembers when his life was saved because Hondo ordered him, against his wishes, to wear a flack vest.

Returning to the present, they watch and wait -- not knowing if Hondo will live or die.
