Overview
Synopsis:
One of TV's best known sitcoms, Diff'rent Strokes concerned two African-American children from Harlem who are adopted by the wealthy (and white) Mr. Drummond. Together, along with new sister, Kimberly, they formed a most unconventional, but very loving, family. Along with their no-nonsense housekeeper, this group was anything but average - but they reflected the changing face of the American family and brought issues of race and class into households across the nation.
