Former Army sergeant, Joe Moran, has moved to France, married and changed his name in an effort to start anew. Despite all of this, Moran's former Army cohorts are still able to find him, and they show up expecting the ex-sergeant to repay an old debt.
Not a bad movie but Charles Bronson’s Death Wish films are arguably the best of his career. This film tries (a little) to be like those films but doesn’t quite get it. However, I think people will be pleasantly surprised by what this film offers. The plot itself is decent to watch and the action scenes are enjoyable and will keep you watching. However there are some disappointments which you can’t really get away from. The accents from some of the cast are ok but there are moments during the film where it slips and it can be a little distracting and there are some moments where the pace can be boring and some scenes can be a little silly in places. The car chase scene towards the end is probably the best bit but even that feels irrelevant to the whole plot. It’s solid enough to watch but it is certainly not one of Bronson’s best.
not as good as the 'Death Wish' films
